OK, 2009 is THE year

The year I take the blogging world by storm.

This is only because the lovely Leslee Fiorella actually noticed I had a blog.

Now I have to step up!

Since it's a newish year, I'll celebrate a newish little person who will be joining Colleen and Glenn for the rest of their lives....Noah Lee Kenneth Horan! Pretty soon he'll be taking a long trip to meet his new family. He may not really realize that he can't wait, but I know Coll and Glenn can't!

Wow, I'm such a good blogger.

I even missed my one year blogiversary. I'm on fire. Well...maybe 2008 is year year of the blog for me. We shall see.

Ah sweet nectar...

OK, this is my first post in blogland, and what better way to commemorate it than an ode to my most favorite drink, just edging out water...Diet Coke.

Not Caffeine Free Diet Coke, not Coke Zero, not Diet Pepsi, not any generic version. I'm talking about The Real Thing.

Since high school, it has been my caffeine of choice. During weekdays, I try to limit myself to three. Sometimes I need more, but then I get headaches. Which style? I'm a 20 oz. bottle girl. I'll drink the cans at work...they're complimentary there, but otherwise, I prefer to keep the fizz in there by putting the lid back on. Plus, if I'm crafting/sewing/ on my laptop it prevents spillage. I know my IS/IT guy at work appreciates that!
